Headlight washer only working one side (not the obvious)

Hi
A bit of an odd one but the headlamp washer on my my10 only wash one side. Apparently Land Rover pump have a strange way of working where they wash one side and then reverse the other way for the other side but it is refusing to reverse. Any ideas please?

That sounds quite strange, both of my headlight unit washers work together, on about every fifth cycle (I think it is) of washing screen. Rolling Eyes John

The screen pump reverses to wash the rear screen.

But not heard of headlamp ones working that way.

Malaysia 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Chawton White

There is no such thing as reversing pump!

On vehicles with headlamp washers, there will be two pumps fitted to the washer reservoir. One for the front & rear windshields and the other for the headlamp washers.

When the headlamp washers are activated both the washers will work.
If one of the washers work and the other doesn't, that means the headlamp washer pump is working.

So please check the inoperative washer jets for any blockage and ensure that there is no restriction in the washer fluid tube. Malaysia Boleh!
