MOST UK spec TDV8's did not have a DPF

Removing it will make a difference to the performance of the car, but it is now a UK MOT fail if it is removed, where fitted as standard...

Thanks, its just offered as an option with a tuner im thinking of using. Is it an obvious bit of kit? It is a huge box in the exhaust, downstream of the cats. Will have various sensors, and pipes going into, and coming out of it.

So, easy to identify if it is fitted, or, if it has been removed. I would expect yours will not have a DPF anyway
