HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD AN ISSUE WITH THEIR STARTER MOTOR?
2009 RR SPORT 3.6 TDV8.

OCCASIONALLY THE CAR JUST TICKS WHEN THE KEY IS TURNED, IT THEN STARTS NORMALLY THE SECOND OR THIRD TIME THE KEY IS TURNED.

THE OTHER EVENING I HAD TO TURN THE KEY 8 TIMES BEFORE IT STARTED.

I AM GUESSING IT IS EITHER A LOOSE WIRE OR THE STARTER MOTOR!

ANY KNOWN ISSUES?

Starter motor failures are not uncommon. I had two replaced in 6 months! 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

If it's a loose connection, be careful, there is a lot of amperage going on down there, potential for some pretty big sparks..

more than likely internal fault! 5.0 Ltr Superchrged RRS2, Chile Red, Sideways out of junctions!
TDV8 HST Stornaway on a 08.. remapped.. now gone and replaced, was a mighty fine car..
4.2 SC First Edition when they first came out, quick car!

I have exact problem ,have put a new starter on and now this one is doing it aswell (one week old) !!!!!
