I'm sure mine are knocking on my 06 hse, are they mounted on rubbers that can be replaced ?

surely they wouldn't have knocked when the car was new would they ?

now have had the car for two weeks i am starting to be able to tell the different knock sounds front and back corners. quite annoying on crappy lumpy roads !

yep sounds like new bushes Mr B, if you had it from a garage tell them to sort it ,,or private sale it not a dear job to put right,,  MARK

Careful, knocking can come from several sources and is more likely to be from anti-roll bar bushes or wishbone bushes. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

so probably have to get the bushes checked at some point then

anyone advise on the weights on the back - are they on bushes too or hung somehow ?

how do they lift off
