hi all,if anyone could help,i posted about my height sensor and suspension several days ago.this IIDTool does the height so why are LR dealer saying they need to take off my 22"wheels & put 19 "to get calibration right,as i said there 1 1/2" difference on the back .thanks to reply's.p |

The dealer is just looking for an excuse and the 22" wheels are an easy target.

thanks bodsy ,will see what they say when I say about this tool.the bill was £600 with the parts for alignment & supposedly getting the height right ,p |

When I needed suspension recalibration on my previous RRS (2009 2.7 TDV6), dealer insisted I changed to 20" wheels prior to that because the car's spec showed it came with 20" wheels from the factory. It was running on my 19" winter set at the time so I just switched to my 20s. Seems like normal practice to me as the garage had nothing to gain from this. I didn't even pay for recalibration, LRCS did |

thanks fkarim,seems odd to me that they need to change wheels,you'd have thought setting the height on each corner would suffice,or as i did use tape measure to check afterwards the levels between the wheel rim & wheel arch.p |
