Query with SUPERCHARGED interior trim?

This is pointed towards all Supercharged owners.

Please let me know if you have a Supercharged that has got its centre console cubby box lid trimmed in full leather as standard. Mine is simply finished as per the dash.

It would appear that the HSE speck trimmed vehicles get stitched leather on theirs Sad

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Santorini Black

tf9 is right Martin !

This interior shot is not of a complete car, it is a 'buck' - generally a pre-production car with no roof on it, and doors that lift on or off the car, so that the photographers can get in there with their lights and cameras. Theres probably no engine/gearbox in there either !

They tend to get supplied to the shoots, along with a car prep guy, and all the various interior pieces in all the different trims. They'll shoot one setup (ie the SC) then car prep will swap the interior over to make it an HSE for example.

It can happen that they dont get the change over quite right, which tends to leave me to change the incorrect part in the post-production stage.

Perhaps this image sliped thru the eagle eyed landrover scrutineering - or was released before the final specs were decided !!!

But what about Jay's and Va's ........... and all the other HSE's out there that appear to get the leather treatment ?

Hence my query/question is it just mine ? or does every S/C come without the leather? if so......... it's a poor thing that for the extra £'s you pay for the S/C ............. they give you less as far as trim is concerned Confused

Yes, I think there's some misunderstanding of your question MDP Wink

Attn all SC owners: do you have stitched leather on your front centre armrest or is it smooth plastic instead?

Mine is like yours Martin, no stitched leather, however do you think that the lid is covered in leather even though it's not stitched, I find it hard to tell.

It doesn't look the same as the Dash as it's more smooth and I caught a fingernail on it one day and it marked in the same way I'd expect leather too.

I just don't know.

I don't think I've seen ANY with stitched leather.

Mine is like this but without the wood.

Also notice martin that on this picture the gear selector is different: longer and chromed. Look hard at some of the dash buttons on the centre unit, they are not production ones. L319 D4 HSE

Ok - so I am gradually getting the picture here Confused

It would appear that my proveded photo is not relevant Sad However, it would also appear that the HSE is the model that gets the nice stitched leather finish to the lid!

Mine is the same as all you have illustrated - it isnt leather - it is a soft touch plastic [ similar ] to the materials used for dash/door trim etc etc.

But, it looks so much better with the stitched leather - a classier & more luxurious feel to the overall ambience of the RRS's interior.

Think i'll have to order one in - lets get a price then Confused

Just been out in the RRS and must say the stitched leather lid is fantastic - a real must for any owner with taste. Spent hours just feeling the superb build quality! I LOVE IT! Very Happy Very Happy 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
