Car Configuration Data Wheel Tyre Size

Hi

Have just bought a BBS Faultmate msv2 and just trying it out to see what you can check/change /reset etc. In the Car Configuration Data section there is a option to set wheel and tyre size. Mine is set for 9.5j 275/40 x 20 as I have just fitted a set 275/45 x 20 winter tyres does anyone know if I reset it to 45 profile does it recalibrate the speedo etc. to suit that size tyre or change various other settings at all e.g. possibly in the transmission.

Any help would be appreciated as really don't want to go round changing things until I know what it does.
