2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 Autobiography Santorini Black

I Phone

Hi guys done a search but i can't get my phone to retain its pairing..it does pair but doesn't automatically connect the next time i turn on the ignition...i have to enter 2121 on my phone again...is this normal?

Hi mate- yes it's normal.mines the same and it drives me mad. Apparently there's a little module in the boot that you can change for a newer version that will prevent you having to pair every time

No doesn't sound normal. Sounds like you need a new upgraded Bluetooth module.

As above ^^^^^^^ had mine changed by Bodsy with a few other upgrades - pairs every time even when Im not in the car ( sitting in living room ).

You need the Bluetooth updating it will then give you phone book on the radio and stop the pairing issues...

Hunter/blade boy,

I can sort out the BT modules for you no problem. As well as stopping the pairing problem, it also gives you the contacts from your phone that you can then select on the radio screen. (Well, up to 300ish contacts).

Can be done by post or if you want any of the other updates available, can be done in person

I have a similar problem with my 2013 HSE Black which I would have thought was equipped with the latest bluetooth software. Is there a recent software change which fixes this? I keep blaming the Apple bluetooth software.

My connection is very hit and miss. Sometimes it's ok, other times I have to turn the bluetooth off on the phone and then back on to get it to connect. Phone book downloads ok.

Shouldn't have the same issue with the newer modules. There's no update available for the newer vehicles.

I'd try disconnecting the battery, shorting the positive cable to the earth (not on the battery!) the reconnect an try again. Bodsys Brake Bible

Not sure about iphones, but with my Android phone, after you pair it requests permission to transfer the contacts.

If you do not tick the remember option then you have to repeat the process every time. 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled
