I get false beeps frequently -- for example, if I'm taking a tight turn at low speed in heavy rain, it beeps like crazy. I asked my dealer about the condition and the reply was "well, it's better that it's too sensitive than not sensitive enough". I guess that's true, but after a while I feel that the system "cries wolf", and I have a tendency of dismissing it at times. At some point, it may report a real obstruction, and I'll ignore it and pay the price. It IS handy when needing to back into tight spots, but it's not trustworthy when it comes to "unexpected obstructions" -- it's just too touchy and unpredictable in its feedback. -QM | ||
