Screen wash pump not working

Gents,

Can anybody help?

Recently my front/rear wash has stopped working. It's full of water, no alarms, all fuses seem ok and wipers operate a few wipes as if all is ok.

Has anyone seen this problem before or any suggestions please

can you hear the motor running when someone presses the button? if you have checked all fuses, then it may be the pump motor itself which is behind the front bumper, left hand side. (from drivers seat) Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible

How difficult is it to get at the pump? Is it a bumper off job? Any ideas what the part number is?

I had the n/s front wheelarch liner off the other weekend and remember noticing that the washer pumps looked quite accessible from inside the wheelarch once the liner was out (easy job). If you have a look in the 'technical section' of this forum there is a definitive list of 'How To's' and under 'literature' is a link to an online copy of the LR official workshop manual that should help you a bit.

If you need a new pump then you can take your chances on ebay or 'phone site sponsor Duckworths for the correct part, 10% off and free delivery. 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE
