bleeding brakes

does anybody have a guide on how to bleed the brakes on a 2006 2.7 hse thanks

2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Has anyone actually tried this method successfully? I'm asking because on most cars there are two problems associated with this method:

Firstly you are pushing the pistons on the master cylinder further down the bore than they usually travel so run the risk of damaging the piston seals on dry/corroded parts of the bore, leading to master cylinder failure.

Secondly, whilst the bleed nipple is loosened, air can enter the system via the thread, meaning you end up with a soft pedal. Some people overcome this by using plumber's PTFE tape on the thread but it does seem a bit dodgy.

Garages typically use a vacuum bleeding tool which avoids the above problems.

Has anyone tried using the Gunson pressure bleeding kit on their Sport with success? 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE
