2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Zermatt Silver

Can I assume the lightening cable (charger) that came with the iPhone 5 will charge my phone when the cable is plugged into the USB skt on the car? But no sound until a Y cable or similar is available or the £30 adaptor from Apple is purchased.

Found one today, eBay @ £1.99 inc postage. Hope it does what it says on the tin! TDV8 - Laguna Teal / ivory - on the drive (clean)
