Thanks Muddy Bow down Thumbs Up
I saw this on the news last night, looks like she's going to get prosecuted from what I saw.

Quick update on my training for anyone following:
I've been racking up the miles and have covered over 400 miles already this month and a nice long weekend of riding planned, so should be able to hit my 500-600 target for May Smile

I also ordered the shirt and will be getting www.rrsport.co.uk embroidered on it, the local shop have kindly said they would do it for free when they saw it was for charity Bow down

Had a minor set back a couple of weeks ago when I came off doing 30 mph Shocked when one of the regular riders in our group sat up/braked on a sprint and caused chaos. My bike went from under me during braking and I was left skidding across the road. Fortunately, apart from some lovely 'road rash' (like a badge of honour for cyclists Cool ) I got up and continued for another 50 miles , albeit with a somewhat sad looking bike Big Cry . Insurance have been great and hopefully it'll be repaired this week, so currently training on my 'heavier' winter bike, but I guess that can't be a bad thing Smile

Would like to say thanks again to all those that have donated, I have been truly amazed at the responses on here Bow down ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Ouch Shocked

Used to have a racing bike in my late teens and cycled everywhere mostly on quiet country roads - regularly did 22 miles a day and could reach 30-35mph at my peak Thumbs Up

Back then we did not have helmets and one day a gust of wind caught me as I passed a field gate and ended up on my head in the road with a mangled bike - upside was my parents finally let me get a motorbike because I would be wearing a crash helmet and leathers Cool

One of my employees was also knocked off her bike by a LR and ended up in hospital mainly because she was not wearing a helmet - she now wears it without fail but I can not get my teenage lads to wear one Evil or Very Mad

The roads are a lot more congested now and nobody pays attention but I now have a mountain bike and need to stop jumping in the sport - oh and get fit again Embarassed

Anyway keep up the good work - its inspiring Bow down Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW
