Newbie here. About to buy an HSE. Is the Hardon Kardon ICE all that, or is there a trade off between speakers and the unit. My last car was a VW Gti, which came with excellent bose speakers, but a hopeless 'VW' head unit. REplace that with a decent alpine unit or similar and you had a pretty good system. From what I've heard (listened to), the RRS systems suffer the same mis-match. Any ideas?

I've had quite a few cars over the years and I must say the RRS is probably the best I've ever heard. The only fault on mine. (55 plate) is the features are quite old fashioned- but sound- wise I think it's ace
