What Capacity do you need for "drive up" car ramps for a sport 05my? 2.5 tonne ? |

The problem with the lighter ones, load capacity aside, is that they are often rather narrow for 4x4 tyres.

Also axle stands are easier to store between uses!

I have some good wide ramps and they can be much more useful than axle stands and jacks for many jobs - although I do have 3t each x4 stands and 2x 3 ton jacks, one low profile and another high lift...but there are a few times its much easier to take it up on ramps to work underneath.
