Bluetooth Phone Problems iPhone 4S & 5

Hi,

I recently purchased a RRS 2.7 HSE 2008, unfortunately the Bluetooth won't work with either my iPhone 4S or iPhone 5. Both phones will sink with the car and can make a car, however.... No sound can be heard after the recipient picks up the phone.

Landrover tell me it's a problem with the software on my phone... Is this the case or are they fobbing me off?

Any advise would be appreciated.

I can post a module on a swap basis with the latest software on. But that's not really your problem. Is it others can't hear you or you can't hear others?
If others can hear you, it's probably the cable from the radio to the microphone. Microphone will need a couple of new wires running up to it. Bodsys Brake Bible

Hi Bodsy,

Sorry should have explained myself better.

I can make a call, however when the recipient picks up the phone neither of us can here any sound.

Any ideas?

I'm not had any issues with my IP3 or IP4S

But my IP5 is a bit temperamental... with the same symptoms as you've describled... I hang up and try again, and it usually connects properly then. RRS gone

Have a word with wigsy as he is sh@t hot with this kind of stuff and sorted my 2005 vogue out when that was doing the same thing.
He upgraded mine to 2010 module and everything was great and even displayed the phonebook in the speedo clock area 2008 range rover sport FANTOM styling
