RESTRICTED PERFORMANCE

"RESTRICTED PERFORMANCE"
New to the site so apologise if this has already been answered.

I've just had my RRS 2011 Autobiography returned from the Dealership following the above message and a loss of power (acceleration) after slowing and then trying to pick up speed again
As per usual the dealership apologised and explained that they had found the problem and correct it.

I drive it today and after ten minutes of driving the Warning RESTRICTED PERFORMANCE came on again and I experienced the loss of power (acceleration) again

Today (11-01-12) is very cold so I had the heaters on, fog lights and stereo etc. Could my problem be a low battery? (The Dealership reckon they checked it and it was a little low)

Any help please

As said, get LR assist on the case and into a car that won't let you down with the predicted cold snap we're about to have.

Could be a number of things to be honest, mine had a similar issue back in November and was pinpointed to a loose turbo hose bracket, but get it to a garage for them to check the whole thing over again. By going via LR Assist they will pay more attention as they are rated on their ability to get people back on the road and perform badly if they have to get the car back in again or fail to diagnose quickly. ^^ This, also what LR product they put you in.
I had an Evoque recently (quite nice to try out actually), but a few others on here have had everything from FFRR's Cool to FREEL2's Shocked , so it's a bit of a lottery Smile ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Adriatic Blue

Hi,

Just been through the same thing on MY10 RRS. Started engine to get EML light on and restricted performance up. Called LR Assistance, who were great and at my house within an hour. Needed to go to a dealer, so drove to Chipperfield, Kings Langley who were excellent.

Turned out to be air flow sensor.

3 day turn around

Steve

+1 for the air flow sensor, happened to me in France took 10 days to sort the part Big Cry got a crappy hybrid to drive round in as they won't supply cars with towbars so stuck on the same caravan site for that time. Good luck getting it sorted Thumbs Up Now gone Orkney grey SDV6 HSE with body style kit contrast stitch ebony leather, privacy, black piano, 22" Lowenharts for summer, 20" with Leon LTZ for winter.
Here 110 black edition defender.
