Does anyone know how to access the powerfold mirrors to apply lubrication to stop judder?

A quick squirt with a silicone lubricant with a long nozzle attachment under the moveable part of the mirror housing where it joins the fixed part of the housing usually does the job on mine and lasts months. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

When the first one started juddering I tried squirting WD40 around where it moves, it didn't cure it, however I had lost the long tube nozzle thingy so maybe I didn't get any into the right place, will get a nozzle and try again, so thanks Bradders. ![]() Gone - RRSPORT TDV6 HSE Buckingham Blue/Ivory, Privacy Glass, Tasmods Sills, Supercharged Black Badges all round, Grille & Vents, plus RRSport Sticker & Brolly of course. |

Ah, yes, I thought WD40 was similar but you are right it isnt... ![]() The most popular one I have found doing a search seems to be 3-IN-ONE Professional Silicone Spray from places like Halfords etc. Not sure if they come with the plastic tube nozzle though. Will take a look next time I go there. Thanks guys. https://www.plus.net/refer.php?strReferral...d093cba6a7 Gone - RRSPORT TDV6 HSE Buckingham Blue/Ivory, Privacy Glass, Tasmods Sills, Supercharged Black Badges all round, Grille & Vents, plus RRSport Sticker & Brolly of course. |
