Well, no news on my RRS, but Mrs Bean has fallen in love with the Orkney Grey (very well spec'd) Evoque and wants to reinstate plans to chop in the 500 against one

ZV - 6 months for one I was offered one within 2 months by the dealer yesterday as I was sitting in one there (although maybe it was a cancelled order, I didn't question it).

I'm happy to report I picked up my RRS from Lookers Chelmsford yesterday morning and it's running like a dream.
I'd not had great sales side service from LC, but I have to say their service team (especially Jamie and Ben) were spot on. They kept me fully up to speed on progress throughout the week the had the car and made sure everything was sorted before returning it back to me.

Turbo fault had been pinpointed to a loose pipe clamp into the turbo. All errors now cleared, boot recall applied, 2 x software updates to the gearbox (resolved hesitancy and is smoother tha before on change up/down), 1st service carried out and washed/vac'd.

I was warming to the Evoque I had, but getting back into the RRS was such a nice experience. The power is more effortless, quieter road noise and generally a far more luxurious ride

Now off to fit my new LED interior lamps  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
