Any advice welcome - I have purchased 12MY rear LED lights to fit to 2005 RRS & have ordered the relevant resistors from flea bay. The installation looks straight forward - if you wise men (or ladies ) know of any potential pitfalls - your experiences would be greatly received.

If you go onto fleabay and put in sport rear lights, at the bottom of the page is dedicated resistors to do the Jobby. I was looking at lights but seem to come fitted with resistors. 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

My rear lights came with the resistors already wired up, so I can't help with that part sorry!
They're the easiest lights to install though - 2x screws and they pop out. Use a plastic trim remover if they're not easily popping out.

Edit, I did find this from an earlier thread if it's of any help:
