2012/13 tailgate chrome strip on 2010 car?

Hi, does anyone know if you could fit the 2012 look chrome strip across the tailgate onto a 2010 car?

I think it looks so much neater!

Lookinig at the two rear ends together i'd say no. The older model has a split tailgate, the newer one doesn't.

Is it down to the older car being a two piece tailgate vs the latter one piece. Whistle In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.
