I must admit, Ikea kit is great to assemble, flat pack furniture has certainly moved on from the old MFI days. |

To be honest Nick, similar situation, we looked at and were quoted for various built in solutions, but they were extortionate for what is a 'kids' bedroom. I liked the fact you can get some funky stuff in IKEA (we've gone for gloss white and gloss grey doors), it doesn't break the bank (that lot was just over £1k), so worst case we could change it in a few years if we wanted to. Not something I'd be happy doing with the 8-9k option we were quoted previously. That said, I do like the Hulsta stuff..... Again similar thing here, we moved in July.....gradually updating rooms and talk of doing our bedroom is getting more bandwidth at the moment |
