Norway 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Zermatt Silver
Heated front windscreen not working

Hi!
Just got -1 C in Oslo today! Smile

Started my 2006 sport this morning and got HDC error and Program Error etc. Car runs find so is there a known porblem that error comes up when the car is cold??

AND tried the heated front windscreen and after 1 min my driverside was all defrosted but only 2 small stripes on the passanger side. After 5 min with help from the hot air it cleared out.

Any good suggestions? RRS 2006 2.7 HSE

It could have a fault on the one side (the screen is split in two circuits)...it could also be broken Mike

I remember when I got my RRS. The screen was defrosting one morning and I noticed a line down the middle that wasn't. Was just about to call the dealership and moan of a broken heating element, then realised there was a gap between the two circuits Embarassed Laughing ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

I had this on my previous RRS, was the other way round, the passenger side defrosted but the driver side was terrible. Never found a fix, I think you have to repalce the screen.
