Curious what happens in these situations, do they return to the factory for rebulding, or are they corrected at a body shop

Years ago a company car of mine (Rover 214 ) was damaged en route to me and the leasing company wouldn't replace it so it sat in the office car park for 2 months while we negotiated a better deal. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy
