Just got my13 rrs and after turning off the nine I get some sort of whining noise coming out of the front left. Mechanic said it w,as the computer. It lasts a minute, has anyone experienced a similar nose ?[/quote]

Could be the various systems shutting down, aircon etc. Mine (MY12 but essentially the same)) does a similar thing, but it shouldn't be a significant whining noise though  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Whilst driving, with SWMBO in the passenger seat, ask her to open the door, then extend your left arm........no more whining  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
