I just hate ignorant who think their car door is only open wide enough once it hits my car

I drive SWMBO mad when I park - she says I am like our dog finding a spot to relieve himself (he takes forever - especially when its raining) - I usually drop her at the door now and then search for a space to avoid the earache - then she moans after how far from the store doors I am when she is finished  Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

I hear you...., I've (touch wood) not suffered with door dinks in my RRS, but if in forced to park in a tight space, I do leave it in off road height, so that hopefully they only clip the moldings at the bottom.

Mrs Beans 500 on the other hand has two corkers (one in each door) where s have used it as door stop.  ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

I like it SWMBO moans at me for driving a RRS when I walk to work everyday and she has a 500 an she does about 4 times the mileage I do

my approach is just to park normally and deal with dents at the end of the several-year-period-that-I-own-the-car

that way I don't live in constant fear of little dents, scratches etc.. when they happen, they happen. Not usually big enough to see from a distance.

Agree, 'sort of' with you rrsboy, but also like to have the car looking top $ whilst I own it, rather than making it all nice for someone else.

Agree sort of - my 2nd car was a £10k FL1 - full of supermarket dings so what the hell
