Yes some people give the breed of dogs bad names. Sadly the dogs are put down not the stupid owners that abuse them!

Totally agree, same with staffy's. Some of the scum that owned them near where I used to live was depressing.

Like some of their children, they don't stand a chance.

Nice dogs unlike some of the cross bred rubbish you see lesser members of society parading around with.
We had a Rottweiler as a family pet 15 years ago, cracking dog. My neighbours have just had theirs put to sleep after it developed a tumour in one of its back legs, he was a fine dog too.

We thought about getting one two years ago but I preferred them with their tails docked so ended up buying an English mastiff, I'm a big dog person not fussed on small yappy things.

I'd love another Rottie pup but I don't like them as much with tails, yes I know this is wrong but at least I am being honest.

If I could find one without a tail I would jump at the chance but that means importing one.

Dogs were given tails for a reason. Its natures way! I have 2 fully trained protection dogs, both rottys and even with tails they look very menacing when asked to bark or guard. Keep the tail!! Range Rover Sport is for posing!

Perhaps you are right, anyway we finally fell for another dog a couple of weeks ago, Alfie is a Neapolitan Mastiff x Cane Corso (Italian Mastiff) and he is a right character.
