I have just bought myself a 2008 Range Rover Sport V8HSE, and very happy with it I am too!

I now need a set of roof-bars to fit in to the existing already fitted roofrails. Does anyone have a set of the cross roof-bars only that they might be interested in selling at a reasonable price?

Hi Al, if it doesn't work out with Gary's I have a set from my 55-reg RRS (think they're all the same!) with travel/storage bags and keys, same price. I'm in Bucks.

Just to be absolutely sure and double check before you go to any bother I have taken a photo of the rails into which the roof-bars need to fit. I am not sure I am allowed to post images yet, but should be able to PM you after this post. So I will try to send it to you, or maybe you could PM me your e-mail address...?

Not too bothered if they are genuine LR parts as long as they are stong enough to carry 4 kayaks, my open canoe, or a roof-box full of ski kit!

OK, i'm just putting it out there but as the OP (Boater-Al) lives about 15 minutes away from me, and garryforestuk and whippetman live miles from both of us, why don't we:

- garryforrestuk sells his to whippetman, as these would have to be couriered anyway

- Boater-Al buys mine off me, as we can probably just meet up to swap them
