Noticed one of my tyres has a chunk taken out of the sidewall and wondered if this was going to be an issue at MOT?

I'm no expert at all, but I don't think that looks too bad to be honest (The trye, not the alloys, they look shocking |

I have. smaller nick in a tyre which I bought as delivery mileage ones, and my tyre dealer pointed it out as it will be a weak point, passed its mot without issues |

I've got two bigger chunks than that out of one of mine, and as long as you can't see the cord underneath then it's fine and should pass an MOT with just an advisory. This was advised by both AA and independent garage.
