Noticed yesterday what i can only describe as a slipping clutch - in 6th in sport mode uphill, foot down, the 'box stayed in top but the revs went crazy as if the car was in neutral although I still had drive ???? Did this a few times and settled down ok.

Hope ive explained it ok. Car's going in for a service and MOT in a couple of weeks - any ideas ???? FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

Odd, is it an auto or manual? Auto's have a torque converter and not clutch. EasyriderUK

They don't make a manual RRS

May be a worn leaver pin

I think there is a "how to" thread RRS gone

I've just booked mine in to have same done.

my symptoms are less obvious...with the revs raising on their own then returing back down (sometimes I can get ti to do it continuously with the right throttle application)... and in the last 3 weeks I've noticed gear selection is lumpy and slow...

The dealer has suggested this pin replacement 1st...with a gearbox flush as my next option. RRS gone
