F1 car cut in half

Any F1 fans may be interested in the link, Sauber have cut an F1 car in half to show you where all the stuff goes. Could have filmed it a bit better to show more detail but good all the same.

Interesting, it lacks detail but then i dont suppose they are going to put on video all there technical knowlege/design work so other teams can see it.

Well it's a 2008 car (it's actually the BMW Sauber F1.08 judging by the aero devices on it) built to an old set of F1 regulations so there wouldn't be much to give away really. Certainly anything really trick could have been covered if they'd been worried. Hopefully this will be on display somewhere public and we can have a good look at it.

I'd like to have seen more detail in the video, though, that's for sure!

I still regret not getting in to the Minardi at Silverstone back in 2004 when my friend was working for them and he said "jump in!". It looked so tight I feared they'd never get me out in time for the race! Rolling with laughter 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

The drivers seating position is intesting, didn't realise they were so laid back with their feet so high.

Their feet are roughly level with their heart and they are very fit. Numbness isn't reported as a problem unlike bruised bums and spines from jumping kerbs. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Would have been a bit dull if they cut across the car! 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.
