2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey
TDV8 starting problem

Hello,

Anyone had a clicking noise when turning the ignition key? I have had a new starter motor just fitted and it hasn't cured the problem.

Any idea what the next thing to change would be?

I'm sure you will of already tried this but just incase you havn't, have you checked your battery terminals, have they got a good clean contact ? Are the terminals tight ? If so did you check the termanals on the starter motor ? Were they clean and did they have a good tight contact ? If all is good there then i would suggest either your battery is goosed or your alternator is knackered Big Cry Common problem with the TDV8's i'm affraid.
