Does the uk get a raw deal?

Looking for RRS for sale and found this:

$49,670 for a 2010 HSE LUX with 26k miles that's £30k here. Is that cheap for what it is?

taking current mid market rates at the moment $1.61..... that means the car is being sold for equivalent of

Seems like a lot of money compared to a brand new Merc ML,( made there) which sell for same money, even more so compared to US brands which sell for half that price! Looks like landrover is a more premium brand than over here!
