Purchased my used tdv8 last thurs from a LR dealer with 1 year mot and approved warranty
On my way home i realise its pulling to the left quite sharply if let the wheel go.
Also no sound from front speakers.
called the salesman about the issues and he says" are you sure its not the camber on the roads?
I feel he is now avoiding me not returning my calls!!
The stealer is 140 miles away or i'd have been back by now.
I have now emailed the sales manager

Ied Get the steering alignment checked myself, cheaper that 280 mile trip in fuel

Does the warranty mean you can not have a nearer dealer look at the speakers?

As Nick says, the alignment should be able to be sorted for less than £75.

Yes i have duckworths boston nearest LR dealer 20 miles away.
You are correct the warranty can be used at any LR dealer.
But the first 14 days aren't covered by warranty its down to the dealer who sold the vehicle to make good and foot the bill.
I'm thinking they are possibly stalling until this period is over so it doesn't come out of their budget perhaps?

Call up and speak to the sales manager, tell him you want the car picked up with a courtesy car in exchange. Under the sale of goods actthey must fix it, if he grumbles about it tell him your going to citizens advice, writing to LR etc

Drive the car straight back to the dealer u bought it from and grab the Cheeky salesman by the throat Jonny he'l listen to you then and then tell him u want yor diesel tank filled up with they're petty cash float for yor inconvenience of him not answering the phone to you Java black 2006
