My car was in for a service the other day, and they pulled the old money making stunt of saying my wipers needed replaced, did I want the front ones fitter for £60??, did I heck!!

I've used 3rd party blades on my RRS . And I've used LR blades. And the LR blades have been better so far. Sure, if the rear one smears a bit it's not a big issue, but I can't live with a smeary front screen. And so far, the LR blades have been more smear free than 3rd party ones. No idea why, but that's how it's been. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Yes, the LR ones are good, mine lasted 2 years and still usable, I don't know what price LR are as a part on their own, I just wasn't going to hand over £20 odd quid for them to fit them! The valeo ones came out quite high in a magazine test, so we'll see how they fair!!

Mine are genuine LR replacements and there is no makers name on them. |

Put some of this stuff http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/car-car...tAodfCuGZw on your screen and your wipers will last forever (well not quite) but it will give you a 100% clearview screen, excellent stuff. |
