I've been looking on the forum for a while to gather all the info i can about buying my Sport and now my car has sold and the money in the bank I'm finially in a position to buy one.
I've seen one in "Chesterfield, Derbyshire" that i like but based in Scotland its a fair old trek to view a car which could be a right dog so was wondering if any kind fellow member was close by to drop by and give it a quick once over for scratches in the paint, kerbed alloys etc.
I will be happy to reimburse said person in beer tokens or a donation to the site etc.
The car is a 4.2 SC and "Presented in Stunning Condition" (not wanting to post a link incase i'm not supposed to) with full LR history and decent mileage (53k for an 06 plate).
I promise not to hold the person personally responsible if they say its ok and it breaks down a mile up the road(touches wood).

Looks a nice example, i'm sure there is a bit more room to shave a few more £££££'s off the asking price and insist on a minimum 12 month comprehensive warranty

Have just been looking at warrenties etc, guy says they give a standard 3 month one from warrenty wise.
Just been googling them to see what other people have been saying about them.
Tried to press them on price but didnt seem very keen will call back tomorrow and try and haggle yrs warrenty from them

That looks like a really clean car, in the picture of the rear wheel the hub and brake caliper are clean, unless they've been painted, either way looks like a good example, good idea getting someone local to take a look, nothing worse than trecking hundreds of miles to see a car that's not as described.
