Sterring Wheel Replacement

I've been phoning round dealers trying to find someone to change my steering wheel, it simply needs swapped, no messing with changing parts over.
They all quote between 1 and 2 hours and mumble something about reprogramming ?? What if anything needs to be programmed ? Why does it take so long when a well known after market parts seller has a video showing it taking no more than 10 minutes ?
Has anyone done this ?

My local independant charged me £40

My local dealer wanted £80 RRS gone

Changing it due to leather condition, very poor and looks bad.

All done now thanks to a very helpful main dealer mechanic !
