Front suspension arms

Just had both front suspension arms replaced under my Warranty Direct policy. They were flagged up as an advisory on the MOT but as the policy covers bushes and they come as a whole unit, both sides were done under the warranty.

Very pleased with the service from Farnell's in Guiseley. I've given up with the Leeds dealership - they never bothered to return my call……..

I was quoted £940 from the dealer and £870 from my local Indy. I paid the XS on the policy plus 10% of the parts costs due to the age of the car, but that only came to £170, so I am very happy with the WD policy. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Bali Blue

Hi Bradders
, did you have any problems with warranty direct, I need the same work carried out,, it was pointed out during the recent service. When I contacted warranty direct to see how to proceed they say the car has to be either attended to at the roadside or have been recovered to a garage before they will begin processing a claim., and the garage must make the call to the ins company.

I must say the guy I spoke to was trying to help in a roundabout way as he knew the car was still on the road and he kept saying " as long as the car has been recovered to a garage ".

So..... Tomorrow I am taking the car to my local indie and will ask then to make the call and see what happens! 2010 RRS, TDV8

Over the years, I have had a fair bit of warranty work done on the suspension while the car is in for service/MOT, whch WD have forked out for. Last year was front ARB bushes and this year the suspension arms. Last year's claim went through without any problems but the suspension arm claim was initally rejected as the bushes were worn but hadn't failed. I had to call WD who eventually accepted that as they had paid out for the ARB bushes it was reasonable for me to expect the same for the arms. They invited the dealer to resubmit the claim which was then approved.

Your Indy needs to process the claim on WD's One-Link system. They dont accept claims by phone/email. Also I'd check the policy as mine specifically covered bushes.

Hope you get sorted. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy
