2011 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Zermatt Silver

If memory serves the queen used a Black FFRR for most of her trip to IRE last year

Interesting Point though I've gone for Zermatt/Stornoway in the past as for me it is a grouse moor colour as is is Buck/Baltic Blue. 2011 MY- RRS HSE - Zermatt -Ebony-Piano .... its a monochrome world

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black

Well.................have just arrived home from the dealership where I have been perving my RRS prior to picking it up on 1st March.

It was standing proudly in the middle of 7 black RRS's and really stood out. Whilst I was was there one of the owners of one of the black ones came up to me and asked me why I had gone for blue.

I told him that I liked Baltic and that nearly every RRS you see is either black or grey and that I fancied something different.

A little while later the guys wife came over to Mrs Jim and said "I told him not to go for black. Since he's seen your car he keeps complaining that he's picked the wrong colour!"

How smug did I feel..........

have you looked at the post today regarding polished bliss detailing there is a buck blue on that and it looks really good. 2011 MY- RRS HSE - Zermatt -Ebony-Piano .... its a monochrome world

Yes. I was going to buy a pot of the wax that the chap used, but at £795 a pop I think that I'll stick to Mer!

Black always looks good on RRS, but agree if you want to be different (I did) Baltic Blue is a good choice IMHO, but as has been said many times it's a personal thing. MY2014 RRS Autobiography in Corris Grey, Black contrast roof and Cirrus interior, adaptive lights and side steps.

The decision has been made (well made for me!).

The car has been "locked into build" so I can't make any more changes. Gone for the Santorini and saw a nice clean one this morning which looked beautiful (may have to invest in some nice cleaning materials!).

Does anyone know the expected time between a car being "locked in" and delivery? I have been told to expect it "end of March".

andman - I've just bought a tin of Collinite 476S wax for the new RRS.

Any comments on the wax and the best way to apply it?
