Scotland 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 SE Santorini Black

Wey Hey, the SEs are taking over!!
As rstebbings says, the extra toys didn't sway me (the tax saving makes me happy enough!) a few choice extras like mood lighting and flappy paddles is more than enough! I believe the 11/12my comes with dynamic handling and front parking sensors as standard now anyway
Enjoy
Dave MY10 TDV6 SE (debadged Wink ), Santorini Black, Flappy paddles, Privacy Glass, 20" Stormers, Mudflaps!

Gone: a comprehensive list of imprezas and a Merc ML AMG

Beancounter.....I did look at the black, and actually fancied the grey. In the end I was "Steered" by Mrs Jim who will be using it to occasionally tow her horse box. She "convinced" (ordered!) me to go for what she calls a county colour.....

Still.....I did managed to go for the drug dealers rear windows....LOL Laughing

Jim

Put your foot down man! Mrs Bean wanted Orkney Grey, which I did like too, but we got Black Whistle Wink Laughing
Drug dealers window - check Thumbs Up

What interior did you go for?

I went for Ivory with Piano Black trim...........Bhaaaaaaaa Laughing

a big headed k Censored b behind the wheel??? Whistle Laughing Laughing

to be honest it is mainly gadgetry and a slightly different leather, the SE does not have rear view cam, 20" wheels, mood lighting, folding mirrors, keyless entry - is all that worth £7k more??

cheers

SE also doesn't have the 'Dynamic pack' and 'Cold climate pack' as standard.
The Dynamic pack is nearly a £2k option, so I guess thats a fair chunk of the difference.
Personally, I think the Dynamic mode is great and I can tell the difference with/without it on.
At the end of the day, each models pitched at a buyers threshold, SE < £50k, HSE <£60km Supercharged <£70k.

i dont have the dynamic response (MY10 SE) but as far as i was aware, the dynamic pack and frond PDC sensors was included in the 2011, but they did put the price up, mine has cold climate pack as standard (but not remote)

cheers

England 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 SE Siberian Silver

£7K difference is a good starting point.

I seriously looked at HSE, but adding privacy glass, RSE and tow pack just kept taking the price upwards towards £60K
So somethings in my SE, I live without:-
Keyless entry (SE has keyless ignitiion and I do prefer to be in control!)
Dynamic response
TV (nobody could watch it while driving, unless option of dual view is specced)
20" wheels (so prone to damage and a joltier ride)
Premium leather (nice fancy stitching -I do like)

but my SE has a few options ticked:-
heated seats, cold climate pack
heated premium steering wheel
mood lighting
stainless tread plates
premium carpets
memory pack
RSE
high beam assist
metallic paint
privacy glass
tow pack

Still less than the price of an HSE, of course its still a RRS and MY12 with lovely 8 speed box and 256BHP.

So just go with what YOU want! RRS MY12 SE Siberian Silver, Ocean, Ivory and Walnut.
3.0 SDV6 256hp, 8 speed autobox with flappy paddles, Factory fitted options: Privacy glass, tow pack, heated seats, heated steering wheel, RSE, centre cool box, premium carpets, mood lighting, vision pack and memory pack.
