Scotland 2011 Range Rover Sport TDV8 Autobiography Stornoway Grey
FBH Question

I have searched through numerous posts and cannot find the answer i am looking for so here goes.

I have a 2010 Autobiography Sport and i was under the impression that the car should have the park heater option as standard. I am aware there is a difference between the park heater and the timed option, my car does not have the option for setting time within the vehicle menu.

Should my car have come with a fob as standard? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Landrover-Range-...4acca4013b Like this one ?

If i were to buy this, what is the procedure for pairing?

TIA

If you 'regsiter' and put your car's VIN number in the 'Topix' section of the Land Rover website 'owners section' it will show you the build spec. of your car.

Fuel fired heater is the FBH.
Park heater is timed climate
The additional fobs are remote climate Thumbs Up

There is a bit more to it, than just pairing the fobs, but nothing too difficult

I see you are in Dundee. Watch this space. There will be a new site sponsor in you area, capable of enabling your timed/remote climate early 2014 (if Martin allows me to become a site sponsor here, as well as Disco3) Whistle Thumbs Up

Why is it so bloody confusing haha, I was under the impression the AB had this as standard

Quote:
Remote Park Heating - Std on Autobiography Diesel and optional on others. Can activate the FBH before starting the car to heat the interior.

Find yourself a Landrover Independant Servicce centre. I had my FBH software downloaded £50. Timer comes up on Sat Nav screen. For remte operation you will need a reciever and an ariel and Fob to perate by remote control. After the software is downloaded, it is very easy to do the rest yourself. I have done mine Thumbs Up Parts cost £176 itisme
