Has anybody fitted or got a recommendation for SS exhaust tips to fit a diesel...

From what I've read you need to be careful that the original exhaust tips still vent down through a hole in the new tip
and the other problem is from possible vibration..

I've seen two companies that make them but would rather go with a tried and tested company

I've got the very same fitted to my TDV8 and they look the nuts.

They come with two fixings, the first being an alan key grub screw which screws tight against the exhaust holding the tip in place securely. The second is a strap which clamps on just in case the grub screw works lose then the strap will stop the exhaust tip falling off and bouncing down the road.

I dont have any vibration or rattles at all. Just make sure everything is screwed up tight.

I've got the Hawke ones from DCC. Very easy to fit and no rattles - and I am a complete Non DIY / Mechanic and took me less than 10 mins

They do look cracking on the rear end!!

Can't remember where I got mine from for sure, I think it was DCC via ebay. They look the same and had no issues TDV8 now with extra grin factor thanks to Alive Tunning: Gone but not forgotten

Does it look strange that the exhaust goes down and not out of the pipes?? everyone behind you knows that this is fake..hehe

how very odd, is there a reason why the exhaust gasses need to go down ?
Mine came fitted with these already, though mine are not bolted on, they have been welded on, and the exhaust gasses come straight out 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater )))

They are straight on my 12 car..... ended up having oem fitted..... 2014.5 SDV6 AB Dynamic ... Fuji /Santorini Pan roof and 22's
