I have a 2010 sport and when I got it I really liked the key, it felt like a quality item and I was pleased that I didn't have the newer key which felt a little cheaper in my opinion.

Now I find my key too bulky and heavy and I understand why land rover changed it

Is it possible to use the newer slim key on my car?

Is your key for keyless entry, the other option is don't buy tight jeans  2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!

I totally agree, the key fob is for weightlifters or man-bag carriers. I am neither. I'm thinking "can't my iPhone just do this?"
