| umbertob Member Since: 22 Sep 2005 Location: Pasadena, CA Posts: 944      | Only solution I have heard of for 4.4 liter naturally aspirated gas engines seems to be ECU shift points remapping (a company in Southern California I visited, Special Vehicle Concepts, http://specialvehicles.com offers such reprogramming, perhaps there are others doing it by now). I have a couple of problems with such an upgrade:
