United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Bourneville
Gearbox fault light

Morning all, I have a 09 sport V8 HSE that I purchased last week. I have known the car for years as it belonged to my best mates dad. It has never missed a beat and has had no issues. The last two days I have come out and started it and had "gearbox fault" displayed on the dash. Once the car is walm and turned off and on again it goes and doesn't return.

Has any one got any clues. The car is parked on a hill at night and it's been freezing at night...., could this be the problem?

THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Ollie

Cheers mate. It went in and had mini service last week before I picked it up so I know it's mechanically sound. So a fault like that would make sense.

I hope it is that easy. If any one else has any more information regarding this it would be great.

My 2010 SC has had this fault cleared by a software update for the gearbox. Known issue. 2 weeks later and no fault!
