noticed the early hours this morning when finished work that my windscreen heated front screen only really works on the passenger side and hardly on the drivers side.! going to see if can get new one replaced as there seems to be a bit of a chip forming will the rain senative wippers still work if get a replacement.? years ago i remember people saying they wont work when you get new screen or you have to have genuine landrover replacement.??????? please any info on this from past experience's would be good before chip gets done,,,i mean bigger

if you have windscreen insurance u can request a LR part, everything will work as per, most insurers use non OEM parts which are made to the same standards, I've always specified a OEM part.

Screwdriver and a hammer will sort the crack out

Recently had screen replaced by Autoglass. It's not OEM LR part, just badged as Pilkington Opti-Cool (I think). Rain sensitive wipers work fine, as does heating element. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
