Speaking of speeding, how did you get on with your alleged offence? |

There are some pretty pointless speed restrictions, 20 odd years ago I got done for doing 60 in a forty, just outside prestwick airport the duel carriageway goes from 70 to 40 for about half a mile, the general practice is to take foot off gas and coast to the roundabout( no built up area, just the parimeter fence on one side and a railway line on the other), cops were hidden behind a hoarding and caught me. It might have just been the surprise that a 2cv could go that fast! I would never do that speed in a built up area, but that time still annoys me every time I go past!
