I'm new to the forum...
Back in 2008 i had a 2005 RRs supercharged and loved it! It did spend quite a lot of time at rangerover but was still under warranty. Then the 'ass' fell out of the price of 4x4's so i had a panic and got shut (as warranty had run out too).

I've now split up with the Mrs and i am on the look out for another supercharged RRS...
I have seen there are a few companys which offer full warrantys for used cars, i just wondered if anybody could give any advice on who to use and what sort of price i would pay for a good warranty which would cover everything if there is one?

I'm in 2 minds whether to buy an old er 2006 hst with around 50k on the clock or blow more money on something newer? Did they make improvents after 2005? is there any advantage on a 2007/08? I can't afford newer really, 2008 would be my limit.

Any help/advise is appreciated.

Personally unless your going for a 10my id get a decent miles early sport, worst time to buy as the market is going daft with winter round the corner, best advise is if you fine a good one grab it before someone else does.

if prices are silly i may wait till after Christmas then... Can't justify getting a 10my, i've a 60 plate navara on lease though my company for another 2 years

I paid £33k for my 05 plate rrs sc in 2008, sold 10 months later for £20k (black, black leather all extra's, not hst though, had done 42,000 if i remember right? )... I know the guy before me blew a lot more but i don't like loosing that kinda money myself!

I've been looking on the net at some around £25k-£30k tempted by supercharged hst's..., i know they are thirsty but i love the v8 sound!

This one is a low milage one, quite like it but it is prob a 'story car' ? Is the milage right? 3 owners is off putting too... and what the hell does it say above the number plate? I've only seen these pics, it may be a shed.. ?

well its not a first edition for starters but it is a facory HST

56 plate HST with those miles, id get out there and see it it before it goes to someone else. Haggle hard take cash and do your best to try and get a few quid off the asking price...... traget 24k

I have a warranty with Momentum who I have used in the past and found to be very good

The badges/script on the back of that RRS hst are v off putting, what kinda person owns it? haha
