| V8SC Member Since: 29 Oct 2011 Location: Hampshire Posts: 145    | I've had a similar problem with other cars before and remember finding that if I turned the fuel filler hose about 90 degrees anti clockwise after inserting into the fuel filler, the slow fill problem did not occur. Sounds strange I know but might be worth a try. Its worked for me before. Good luck. Carl | ||

| wackyjim Member Since: 12 Nov 2009 Location: Tayside Posts: 265    | V8SC  Is absolutely correct here...I am not sure that the misfuel device has actually activated itself more of a design problem and I have found in my FFRR that some filling station pumps are worse than others. I now do what V8SC suggests all the time and as such it doesn't bother me anymore  | ||

The combination of the mis-fuel device and high volume pumps can cause the pump to 'shut off' prematurely. ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

 I just use the handle hold lock that all fueling hoses have here, much simpler    '08 RRS TDV8 I converted my diesel RRS to run on an environmentally friendly mixture of caribou fat and baby seals oil | ||
