Recommend me some wipers please!

After forking out a small fortune on OEM one's at LR only 6 months ago they have now failed Evil or Very Mad

Squeaking and leaving lines everywhere Big Cry

I'm not going for OEM again, they are obviously not fit for purpose, can anyone else recommend another set from somewhere?

Cheers

Haven't really got any recomendations for RRS's, but I usually get Bosch when tthe time come to replace them on my car.
As an aside, to reduce the wear on them, you could look at getting something like Gtechniq G1, almost makes wipers redundant Thumbs Up

i got their G3 for my wifes side windows and thats good, tried carlack glass and i'm impressed with that on the side but smeared the front on mine

i'm not sure about sealents on the windscreen now, i don't do lots of higher speed driving as 90% of my driving is in 20-30mph zones with the odd 40 in between

I have always looked at OEM, but have you tried cleaning the blades themselves? I used autoglym fast glass and it brought them up super afterwards

heard someone say running a pencil lead down the edge works too Confused maybe its another peanut butter type trick Laughing

@ Nick, the G1 is a little fiddly to apply (certainly not as easy as G3) , but once its on, it's amazing.
I ran it for over a year on my previous Audi with no problems (smearing/squeeks etc) Thumbs Up

@ Marcus, thats a good point about giving them a clean, go over them with some glass cleaner on a cloth. I'm sure you'll be surprised at the amount of muck that comes off. Worth a try before you go a buy a new set. ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Vinegar is supposed to do the trick.

Give them a really good clean. Use a microfiber cloth and make sure you get in between the side elements of the blade. Always used to sort out my blades when they got noisy or stopped clearing the screen properly. If the grooves in the side of the blade fills up with crap then the blades are not as flexible and don't work as well and make much more noise.
